Program Manager - Alcohol & Other Drugs

Salary:  $40,000 - $42,000

Program Manager needed for a long-term residential treatment facility for women and their children at our location in the Allentown section of Pittsburgh.

Required: Bachelor’s degree and a CAC in a related field with at least 2 – 4 years relevant supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge about the dynamics of addiction and mental health.

Preferred: MSW

 Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department/program. Implement and maintain the department’s philosophy, principles and procedures in all clinical services and/or operational functions.

 With direction from Senior Program Manager, establish appropriate client and department/program outcome goals. Produce and report statistical and/or client outcome indicator reports and focus on department/program and/or clinical activities in such a manner as to achieve established department/program and client outcome goals.

 Ensure the operation of the department/program is in accordance with applicable licensing and/or regulatory compliance.

Interview, hire and evaluate staff, maintain approved staffing levels and maintain affirmative action staff balances and requirement.

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, training and development of staff to meet agency, department/program and regulatory standards.

 Establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals from outside agencies/organizations.

 Establish a process of quality review and initiate actions to maintain and/or improve quality of service. Implement plans to improve department/program and/or service quality.

 Participate in the periodic review of department and/or program service operation and development.

 Responsible for the expenditure of revenues for the department/program according to established budgets. Monitor budget compliance.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and instruct staff accordingly.

Oversee clinical process, methodology, crisis and emergencies.

Working Conditions:  Office setting.  May need to travel between sites periodically.
